i'm a 90s kid who grew up in the early 2000s internet. when I discovered neocities I at first thought it was something from the early internet, but it turns out it's just a sort of love-letter to that kind of time. My personal memories of it are stuff like mIRC, internet forums, livejournal, and using deviantart for actual fanart and not just porn. simpler times. so idk why I signed up but it seemed pretty cool and i'm hoping I can make it look interesting over time. I do not know HTML though but maybe I will learn a bit. I am quite open minded with music but picky when it comes to what makes me want to actually listen to music for enjoyment. I've often said at work that I don't really listen to music to "enjoy" it so to speak, I do it to feel something. I also have been a gamer for pretty much my entire life, and I dabble in some speedrunning. I mainly do a lot of Crash Bandicoot stuff, but occasionally something else will peak my interest. I play a lot of what unfortunately now is classed as retro games, with RetroAchievements taking up a LOT of the past year for me; i think my brain's a bit weird and just enjoys that kind of thing.
